Sittin' Pretty, Take 2

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend... I'm hoping we get some sunshine before the weekend's over.  It would be nice to have good weather for everyone's Memorial Day celebrations.  Take a moment to remember those who have served our great country.

My second post for today is also a Repeat Impressions stamp, Sittin' Pretty.  This time, I colored it to be a yellow tiger and made a shaped card.  I love how you can use the same stamp to make so many different looks!  I am entering this into the House That Stamps Built DCC 522 ~ Fur, Fins or Feathers.

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sittin' Pretty, Take 1

A rainy Saturday here in New Hampshire! We were in need of rain, but I think we've caught up now.

The House That Stamps Built has a Designer's Choice Challenge going on this week...DCC 522 ~ Fur, Fins, or Feathers.   For my first post today, I have used Repeat Impressions stamp, Sittin' Pretty.

Krafty Kreations - Krafty Krop Challenge #1

For NSD, Kimmie from Kraftin' Kimmies has challenged us to make a Krafty Kreation...using Kraft somewhere on our creation....either Kraft Paper, a Kraft embellishment, etc.  I chose a Kraftin' Kimmie image from the Down on the Farm set.  I love this set!   After coloring with my alcohol markers, I layered the image with Kraft cardstock, cutting both layers out with the Labels 8 Spellbinders die.  I then attached that to my card base, which I had stamped with my SU Chicken Wire stamp.  As a final step, I attached the sentiment across the top.

Beautiful Weekend

What a beautiful weekend this was...  Took a nice ride to the North Country on Saturday.....and today I had a 35th high school reunion planning meeting.  Only one more meeting left before the reunion.  I am so looking forward to seeing my former classmates that are going!  After the meeting, the weather was still beautiful to take a little hike through the woods to see what creatures may be lurking in the local swamp!  Last night when we walked down, there were a couple Canadian Geese swimming along...

No swamp creatures here though... Just some pretty Spring flowers!  My card today is shaped like a clay flower pot.

Rather than opening like a regular card, the sentiment, surrounded in flowers, slips down inside the pot, to make the bouquet.
All of the supplies for this card were from my SU stash...Misc cardstock pieces, Boho Blossoms punch, 5-Petal Flower punch, Eyelet Border punch, Sweetest Stem Embosslits Die,  silver brads and Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon.  The sentiment is also from a SU set, God's Blessings (retired).

The House That Stamps Built is having a Designer's Choice Challenge this week (DCC424 ~ Shaped Cards) that I thought this card could be entered into.

I also thought I could enter into the following challenges:

Dream Valley Challenges - Challenge 56 No Squares Allowed
Our Creative Corner - Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts - Don't be Square, Use a Shaped Card

Until the next post...

Ivy

Over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Blog, there is a Tic Tac Toe challenge I thought I could play along with.

I created my card using the image, Ivy. I have chosen blue, gems and dies, although the blue is quite subtle (Ivy's wings).
